Why are some people afraid to communicate with others?

DEFINITION OF COMMUNICATION :

            Communication is act of transferring information from one person or place to another person or place. In short, one person sending information and another receiving that.


 Why communication is so important :

             Humans are social creatures who needs everyone support and depend on each other, so they makes connection between each other. And this connection could only be made with the help of communication. All of bridged the gap between themselves by communicating with each other and made new connections and social life began. Thus communication is very important to live a better social life.

Some people afraid to communicate with others :

            While people can communicate easily, there are also those who are afraid to communicate and feel insecure. And such people go ahead and become victims of loneliness.

            Well, I also had this problem before. I used to be very shy when it came to speaking or communicate in public.

               The reasons behind not being able to communicate with anyone that I have experienced and most of the people also feel are as follows :

1} What if I say something ?

2} In party or conversation, People find me boring because I don’t say anything.

3} If I get bad impression somewhere ?

4} If someone will judge me ?

            For the above reasons, people feel insecure and afraid to communicate with others. And if he tries to communicate, he gets stuck for the above insecurities.


Why do people feel insecure about communicating with others ? :

1}  less confidence :

·         Self-confidence is essential in communicating with others.

·         Not enough beautiful or handsome, taller, slim and fit so they feel insecure.

2} Rejection :

·         May be you fear the person you will converse with not like you.

·         You may be wondering what he think of me ?

·         You fear being rejected.

3} Feel uncomfortable :

·         Many people feel uncomfortable while converse with others.

·         These people think about what should I talk with them.

·         And finally he talks in limits with people so communication can not be well.

4} Misrepresentation :

·         So many people think that if he says something and it makes a bad impression on the person   in front of him ?

·         So such people avoid communicating with others.

 

 

What is Glossophobia ? :

Glossophobia is the medical term for the strong fear of public speaking communication with others.

It is one o the common phobias about 75% of the world population struggle with this social phobia or social anxiety.

According to surveys, the fear of communication or public speaking is even greater than the fear of death.

How to overcome fear of communication :

1] Get motivation :

First you need to ask your self , will you be a sad, lonely, have a low self esteem?

Most important thing is , “to get motivated, you need to deal with your fear.”

2] understand your fear of communication :

Know your self and find reason of your fear of communication.

 

3] Start slow :

When you try to overcome your fear of communication, you do not need to go quick.

1st you decide which reason  feel you fear in communicate and start fixed it.

Once you have the first, the next should feel slightly less intimidating.

 

4] Be kind to yourself :

When you try to overcome the fear of communication, you will feel a change in yourself.

Be kind of yourself as you learn the steps to overcome fear of communication or you are going to make the process harder.

5] practice makes perfect :

·         The more you practice having conversations that feel difficult, the less difficult they will feel over time.

·         You are only going to overcome your fear of communication by actively working on it.

·         The more you practice the better you will get.

Practice makes perfect..!

Communication is so important to be successful in life. If you are also afraid to communicate like me than you can overcome this fear by following the above tips.
